Since it first opened its door a decade ago, Prego has been the talk-of-the-town with its brick oven pizzas, homemade pastas and devilish desserts. The setting is airy with water and floral decoration, with the ultimate feature being the open-air pizza kitchen where guests can see Italian chef, Marco Boscaini at work.
Known for his modern take on rustic recipes, some of Chef Marco’s popular dishes include grilled lamb chops served with baked tomato and saut?ed spinach, pan-fried snowfish medallions with a vegetable caponata, and everybody’s favourite tiramisu al caf?, made from his own special recipe. Diners can complement all this and more with Prego’s extensive wine list.
To celebrate Prego’s anniversary, the restaurant will be featuring a special menu showcasing some the most popular dishes featured on the menu over the past ten years. On Sunday 20 October from 7:00pm, a true Italian extravaganza will take place where the 10th anniversary special menu will launch and complimentary food and wine tasting will also be available.
