Woothigrai or known as Chef Woody joins the Conrad Koh Samui team from one of the luxury resorts in Phuket, the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach Resort, where he held the position of director of culinary. In this previous role, Chef Woody was responsible for leading and directing the pre-opening culinary team at all restaurants with creativity in food preparation and designing new signature menus, while ensuring that the perfection of food quality will be offering to guests.

Prior to his tenure at the Pullman resort in Phuket, Chef Woody spent more than seven years as Executive Chef at two luxury resorts in Khao Lak, Phang Nga province and has also worked as Executive Sous Chef for more than two years at luxury resort properties on the Denarau Island in Fiji. Originally from Phuket, he started his career in the kitchen in 1992 and have since gained many years of experiences from hotels and resorts in Phuket, including 4-year experience as the restaurant chef at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa.
Chef Woody graduated from Phuket Vocational College with High Vocational Certificate in culinary education.
