Hands Across the Water was formed by a team of committed individuals in 2004 to help children left homeless and orphaned by the devastating tsunami. The Australian charity is now registered in Thailand where it supports at-risk Thai children and their communities with long-term projects at centers in Kanchanaburi, Yasothon, Surin, Chumphon and Chanthaburi. Committed to making a real difference to the lives of children through educational support, vocational training, and medical care, every cent of donors’ money goes to the children and their communities and all members of the board give their time and expertise freely, as do countless volunteers.
