May 10th, 2016: Crystal Lagoons, the multinational known for creating the world's top amenity artificial crystal-water lagoons and that made a very successful debut in Thailand and Indonesia, is expanding worldwide with its latest project - the Bayside Crystal Lagoon, a $1 billion-dollar mixed-use lake-front development at Lake Ray Hubbard in Rowlett, Texas. Earlier this year, Crystal Lagoons successfully launched a luxurious 6.3 hectares (approximately 39 rai) crystal clear lagoon project in Thailand and it also launched one of the top 6 best lagoons in the worldwith flying colours, an outstanding 6.3 hectares (approximately 39 rai) crystal clear lagoon at Treasure Bay in Bintan, Indonesia.

Bayside in Texas will boast an 8-acre (approximately 20 rai) Crystal Lagoon that is 25 times the size of an Olympic swimming pool and equivalent to 10 football fields of water. Ideal for sailing, stand-up paddle boarding and more. The environmentally sustainable Crystal Lagoon uses 50 percent less water than a park of the same size; 30 times less water than an 18-hole golf course; 100 times less chemicals than a swimming pool and up to 50 times less energy than conventional pool filtration systems.

The Bayside Crystal Lagoon will be the 12th lagoon created by Crystal Lagoons in the U.S., joining the company's portfolio of more than 300 lagoons worldwide
