THAI Wins Building Excellence Award for Facilitating the Disabled 2016

Mr. Jiravut Vinaipanich, Deputy Vice President, General Administration Department, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), represented the Company in accepting the Building Excellence Award for Facilitating the Disabled 2016 from Pilice Major General Suwat Chanitikul, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, at Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger Building, Muang Thong Thani. Two of THAI's buildings received awards for facilitating the disabled: THAI's office in Laksi and THAI's Operations Center (OPC) in Suvarnabhumi.

The Building Excellence Award for Facilitating the Disabled 2016 was organized by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in conjunction with a study conducted on the impact of suitable environment on the elderly and disabled 2016. The Department of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University conducts the project that studies, follows up, and selects buildings that facilitate the disabled so that they receive convenient services.
