Global hotel management group Swiss-Belhotel International (SBI) has promoted two Executive Directors – Oliver R Faull and Edward J L Faull – as part of its continuing expansion and to meet corporate demands with support for the Chairman and President Gavin M Faull.

Oliver R Faull and Edward J L Faull already hold senior executive positions within the Group and along with their brother Matthew D Faull also hold equity interest in Swiss-Belhotel International. The extension of their respective roles is part of the ongoing restructuring within the global hospitality group as SBI aggressively expands internationally.

Oliver R Faull will take on the role of Vice President for Australia and New Zealand in addition to his responsibility as Assistant Chief Financial Officer. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong and New Zealand and an Auckland University business graduate, and his career in auditing and business analysis also took him to Europe and the USA. Mr Faull joined Swiss-Belhotel International initially in the corporate head office in Hong Kong in 2009 and has since been based in New Zealand.

Edward J L Faull, since joining SBI in 2014, has progressed through the Corporate Head Office in Hong Kong and the Group office in Jakarta, Indonesia. A University of Auckland engineering graduate, he has more than a decade of experience in infrastructure and building development including hotels, and will now take on the role of Vice President for Group Technical Services and Projects, based in Hong Kong, Jakarta and Hanoi. He is also responsible for operations and development in Vietnam working closely with Mr. Emmanuel Guillard, Senior Vice President for Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam to develop the important emerging markets of South East Asia.

Gavin M Faull, Chairman and President of Swiss-Belhotel International firmly believes that a personal, inclusive and empowering approach to business brings important values and skills to corporate culture, even at an international level. "Companies need diversity to thrive. Oliver and Edward will inject invaluable financial and technical expertise into their new roles to help the business grow and evolve. Together with our valued partners, we lead the firm with a belief in the power of individuality, a personable attitude and a personalized approach. Business success in the hospitality industry is about combining Passion and Professionalism™ in a team that stays true to a common commitment of achieving the same shared goals," he said.

Mr Faull's eldest son, Matthew Faull also works with Swiss-Belhotel International as Senior Vice President of Information Technology, E-Commerce and Distribution. All three siblings are also members of the Board of Directors of Swiss-Belhotel International Holdings Limited, which is the overall owning and holding company of the Swiss-Belhotel International Group.
