Odakyu Electric Railway Releases "HAKONE KAMAKURA PASS" -- Excursion Ticket Allowing Foreign Travelers to Freely Tour Popular Tourist Spots in Tokyo Suburbs

Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. started selling "HAKONE KAMAKURA PASS" -- a new discount excursion ticket exclusively available to foreign visitors to Japan -- from December 1, 2017. It is a very economical excursion ticket that can help foreign visitors begin traveling from Shinjuku, Odakyu's terminal station in Tokyo, and fully enjoy visiting popular tourist spots near Tokyo such as "Hakone," where one can enjoy nature and hot springs from season to season at the foot of Mt. Fuji, and "Enoshima-Kamakura," a seaside tourist destination where one can feel nature and history, among other attractive features.

A single "HAKONE KAMAKURA PASS" allows tourists to freely ride and get off trains on all Odakyu lines linking Shinjuku with the Hakone area and the Enoshima-Kamakura area, as well as eight kinds of transportation in the Hakone area and on Enoshima Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (Enoden) lines. By showing the pass, one can receive complimentary services at about 70 facilities such as restaurants and art museums mainly in the Hakone area and the Enoshima-Kamakura area. The pass, valid for three days, is 6,500 yen for an adult.

Details of "HAKONE KAMAKURA PASS"

1. Release date: December 1 (Friday), 2017

2. Ticket counter: Odakyu Sightseeing Service Center Shinjuku (near the west exit ticket gate at Odakyu Shinjuku Station)

3. Price: 6,500 yen per adult and 2,250 yen per child between 6 and 11 years old

Pass allows for unlimited rides on following vehicles:

- Trains between Shinjuku and the Hakone area and between Shinjuku and the Enoshima-Kamakura area: Trains on all Odakyu lines

*A limited express ticket is needed to take Odakyu limited express "Romancecar."
