Traditional pub grub is given a gourmet twist at The Greedy Pig on Koh Samui.
MANATHAI Koh Samui, part of the award-winning Thai boutique group, MANATHAI Hotels and Resorts, is officially launching its own British-style gastropub, The Greedy Pig in time for the coming festive season.
The new outlet will offer hotel guests and drop-in customers a traditional inn atmosphere with a menu of good food including a Sunday Roast, draught beers, craft ales, and world sporting events shown live on big-screen TVs with menu specials to match every occasion.
Having opened its doors ahead of its official launch, The Greedy Pig is already attracting local residents, tourists and guests at MANATHAI Koh Samui for its menu of tasty British fare. The all-day pub, which opens from 11am – 11pm serves a full English breakfast, British favourites like sausage rolls and scotch eggs, appetisers, salads and sharing plates, including a melting baked camembert cheese served with melba toast, and main course classics like sausage and mash and shepherd's pie, as well as popular international favourites including BBQ ribs.
Some well-known Thai dishes are featured on the blackboard of daily food and drink specials and desserts are more than an after-thought with apple and blackberry crumble amongst the sweet temptations.
