Bangkok--11 Jun--TCC Hotel Asset Management
The Raweekanlaya Bangkok Wellness Cuisine Resort has been named as one of the Best Boutique Hotels in Asia Pacific in the 13th annual DestinAsian Readers' Choice Awards.

The stunning urban resort, which was originally built in the late 1800s as the residence of a royal governess, was selected as the region's eighth best boutique hotel. This puts The Raweekanlaya Bangkok ahead of many of Asia's most renowned boutique hotels, including those operated by leading international brands.

With 38 rooms and suites, a serene spa, elegant restaurant and naturally-lit spaces for weddings and intimate events, all nestled among tropical landscaped gardens, The Raweekanlaya Bangkok is truly an oasis of peace and tranquility in the heart of the city.

The DestinAsian Readers' Choice Awards are voted for each year by the readers of DestinAsian, the award-winning travel and lifestyle magazine for the Asia Pacific region. As well as being named as the eighth best boutique hotel in Asia Pacific, the results show that The Raweekanlaya Bangkok was the second highest-rated boutique hotel in Thailand.

Mr. Nishant Grover, Chief Operating Officer said "We are delighted to have been named as one of Asia Pacific's top boutique hotels in the DestinAsian Readers' Choice Awards. This region is home to many fantastic boutique properties, so to be rated among the top is truly an honor and recognition of a piece of history which we attempted to bring to the world".

The standout attributes of DestinAsian Readers' Choice Award winners include the friendliness of staff, the quality of service, facilities and dining, convenience of the location, and the hotel's design.

The Raweekanlaya Bangkok forms part of The Wellness Collection, which was created to showcase the charm and elegance of Thailand's spa and culinary culture. It is operated by Asset World Hotels, the hotel management arm of Asset World Corporation, a member of TCC Group, one of Thailand's leading conglomerates.

The results of the 13th DestinAsian Readers' Choice Awards appear in the February/March 2018 print issue of DestinAsian and online at www.destinasian.com/RCA2018.
