Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, organized an exclusive "Royal Silk Night at the Thai Residence" to thank THAI premium customers for their continued patronage, which included THAI Royal Orchid Plus (ROP) Platinum and Gold Members in Japan. VIP guests also attended the event, such as ASEAN Ambassadors to Japan and their spouses as well as prominent high-ranking officials from the Japanese public and private sectors.

His Excellency Mr. Bansarn Bunnag (fifth from left), Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Japan, and Mr. Arnuphap Kittikul (sixth from left), THAI General Manager, Japan and the Americas, welcomed all guests to Royal Silk Night at the Thai Residence, which was held at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. "The Sound of Siam," a well-known band, performed a mini jazz concert and a reception was held in the Japanese garden of the Thai Ambassador's Residence. Thai cuisine was served and there was a lucky draw for a chance to win a roundtrip ticket to fly with THAI in Royal Silk Class from Japan to Bangkok as well as other prizes.
