THAI Attends Presentation Ceremony of the Princess Srinagarindra Award 2018

Mrs. Suvimol Bualerd, (second from right), THAI Executive Vice President of Human Resources, together with Mrs. Nathaya Beokhaimook (first left), THAI Vice President, VVIP/VIP Travel Management and Planning Department, and Associate Professor Dr. Tassana Boontong (second from left), Vice President of the Princess Srinagarindra Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage, congratulated Professor Emeritus Dr. Afaf Abrahim MELEIS (middle) who has been selected as a recipient of the Princess Srinagarindra Award 2018 from a list of nominees who are registered nurses and midwives from all around the world. Professor Emeritus Dr. Afaf Abrahim MELEIS is an extraordinary international leader in nursing education, nursing development and research. The presentation ceremony was held at the Chakri Throne Hall, The Grand Palace.

The Princess Srinagarindra Award Foundation was established in commemoration of the Centenary Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra Mahidol since 2000. The Princess Srinagarindra Award is conferred annually upon an individual or group of registered nurses and/or registered midwives who have made a significant contribution, though direct care, research, education or management, within the nursing profession and/or for the development of the nursing profession. THAI has been providing an on-going support for this prestigious award, flying members of the award selection committee and award recipients to the Kingdom of Thailand.
