HONG KONG--19 Oct--PRNewswire/InfoQuest

In a secret visit in search of hidden gems in one of Asia's most storied cities, K-pop singer-songwriter Jeong Se-woon was in Hong Kong recently as part of the Link Community Tour, where he immersed himself in the neighbourhoods of Stanley, Lok Fu, Kowloon City and Wong Tai Sin. Documented in an electrifying visual narrative, the tour connected Jeong Se-woon with all walks of life in these unique communities, bringing to life the off-the-beaten-track intrigues and discoveries at which Jeong marvelled, with a cohesive undertone that confirms Link Asset Management Limited (Link) as a place maker that "Links People to a Brighter Future".

In the Kowloon Tour, Jeong visited the famous Wong Tai Sin Temple and paid tributes to the Taoist deity revered for granting wishes to pious believers. This cultural feast of ancestral architecture and beguiling Chinese zodiac sculptures was followed by a colourful leisure experience at the nearby Temple Mall that draws on the unique vibe of the temple. Here, Jeong sampled the taste and the making of the much-loved Chinese dumpling xiaolongbao. Another indelible experience in the mall had Jeong dressed in a traditional navy cheongsam of his own choice. The walking tour continued in Lok Fu Place where Jeong enjoyed authentic Chinese tea ceremony and one of Hong Kong's most famous sweet treats: the egg tart.

In another walking tour in Stanley, Jeong met the sunny side of Hong Kong in the Southern District, where he soaked in the sights and colours of Stanley Main Street leading up to Stanley Plaza, another Link property with strong character. The laid-back shopping destination greeted Jeong with the stunning views of Stanley Bay on the observation deck, where he wished upon the big blue by writing on a heart-shaped card and hung it up on the railing like the locals and visitors do. And so, a new fan site is born thanks to Jeong's own writing, no less! The tour culminated in the burnt orange sunset at the Murray House, where he joined local buskers to stage a surprise gig that lined the evening with unexpected glamour.

These are just some of the highlights of the Link Community Tour that has garnered industry recognition for its social contribution and all-round excellence. Conceived as a regular programme that connects international visitors and local residents of different ability levels to explore the city's hidden gems in an interactive way that helps promote a sense of community and inclusiveness, the Link Community Tour won Bronze prize in 'Best Event -- Targeted Community' category of The Marketing Events Awards 2018 and finalist position in 'Best PR Campaign -- Consumer' category of Marketing PR Awards 2018. It has also been shortlisted for the 2018 edition of ICSC Award in 'Public Relations and Events' as well as the 'Excellence in Cross-Border Marketing' from Marketing Excellence Awards 2018. The award results will be announced shortly.
