TAT encourages tourists and travelers to spread happiness throughout Thailand voluntourism campaign “Happiness we can share”

Bangkok--15 Jul--The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT)

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) with Thai Smile Airways, Nok Air, AirAsia and other tourism partnerships are holding the campaign “Happiness we can share” along the 60 happiness and sharing routes by encouraging everybody to travel and spread happiness through 38 voluntary activities and 22 tourism communities around Thailand. Specially priced tickets, accommodations, rental vehicles, etc. will be provided.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor for Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) said “TAT is holding the campaign “Happiness we can share” by introducing travel routes that will enable tourists to enjoy themselves through voluntary activities and community tourism. Tourists and travelers will find the meaning of true happiness which lies in sharing and giving away” The activities are

Forest planting activities in Chaiyaphum, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Nakhon Nayok, Ratchaburi, Lampang, Chachoengsao, Samut Prakan and Samut SongkhramGarbage clean-up activities in Chonburi, Samut Prakan and Phra Nakhon Si AyutthayaVoluntary teaching activities in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Uttaradit, Uthai Thani and SatunElephant conservation activities in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Kanchanaburi, Phetchaburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chonburi and PhuketCoral planting and marine life nursery activities in ChonburiCommunity tourism activities in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Nan, Sukhothai, Lampang, Uttaradit, Uthai Thani, Udon Thani, Nakhon Phanom, Nakhon Nayok, Phetchaburi, Chanthaburi, Rayong, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, Chumphon and Phatthalung
