Photo Release: Ratchaburi Holding Gears up Wind Power Project as the First Private Developer in Thailand

Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. recently held the signing ceremony for Share Purchase Agreement and Shareholders Agreement of Wind Power project’s development. Mr. Noppol Milinthanggoon (3rd from left), Managing Director of Ratchaburi Electricity Generating Holding PCL. and Mr. Nopporn Suppipat (4th from left), Chief Executive Officer of Renewable Energy Corporation Co., Ltd. represented the companies for both agreements. This project is the first private developing project in wind power of Thailand. With an installed total capacity of 60 MW, the project is located in Phetchabun province and expected to start its construction in October 2009. The commercial operation would start in 2011.
