PEA kick off the Road Show on Smart Technology for Smart City Safe City in Indonesia

Siribhusaya Ungphakorn (centre), Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Office of Commercial Affairs at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta inaugurates the seminar Smart Technology for Smart City Safe City which was held by Thailand's Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), Messe Frankfurt and The Exhibiz Co Ltd to promote Thailand Lighting Fair 2017. The seminar was given speech by Payomsarit Sripattananon (2nd right), deputy director of Alternative Energy Encouragement and Efficiency Department, Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). Also seen in the photo are Pakwan Jiamjiroj (far left), general manager of The Exhibiz Co Ltd., Mada Ayu Habsari (2nd left) deputy for Solar and Wind Energy Compartment, Renewable Energy and Environment Department, Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chris Loke YC (far right) chief executive officer, SkyLight Technology International Co Ltd, who jointly provided Indonesia's entrepreneurs from the private and government sectors with knowledge on energy saving and the efficient use of electricity as well as presenting lighting, electrical engineering and security technology to serve Indonesia's smart cities and the new opportunities that will arise through Thailand's exhibition platform.

The roadshow is one of the activities to promote Thailand Lighting Fair 2017, the third consecutive trade fair hosted by PEA in cooperation with Messe Frankfurt and The Exhibiz Co Ltd. The 2017 edition will incorporate a building technology zone and run concurrently with Secutech Thailand 2017 under the main theme "Smart City Safe City." on 16-18 November 2017 at BITEC, Thailand.
