49 Pure-branded stations to be converted to the Esso brand

Esso (Thailand) Public Company Limited and Pure Thai Energy Company Limited, subsidiary of Rayong Purifier Company Group (RPCG) Public Company Limited, announced today that they have entered into a fuels supply and licensing agreement that will convert 49 Pure-branded service stations in Thailand to the Esso brand. Under the agreement, Pure Thai Energy will operate the service stations under the Esso banner.

"As the highly competitive retail fuels business evolves, selling Esso's quality fuels through a strategic partner like Pure Thai Energy will expand our presence and bring more convenience to drivers," said Yodpong Sutatham, director and retail sales manager of Esso (Thailand)."We are always looking for ways to enhance our services to customers, and we look forward to working with Pure Thai to expand Esso branded retail locations."

Consumers will be able to buy high-quality Esso fuel and Mobil lubricant products, participate in Esso's Smiles Driver Rewards Program, and can expect the same outstanding service at all Esso-branded sites.

"This is a great opportunity for Pure Thai to enhance our retail business and strengthen business performance," said Bibit Bijaisoradat, chairman of the executive board of Pure Thai Energy Company Limited. "We can leverage Esso's strong brand image, network presence and its complete marketing offerings to attract more customers. In joint cooperation, we can provide our customers with the best value, quality products and exceptional customer service."

The conversion is expected to commence in December 2017 and be completed by the end of 2018. This will add to the existing 544 Esso-branded service stations in Thailand.
