Leading property developer Raimon Land won two awards for The River during the Annual Thailand Property Awards 2012, during a gala event held recently at the Dusit Thani Hotel in the presence of 500 guests.

The River was awarded the "Best Luxury Condo Development (Bangkok)" in the Development category and the "Best Condo Development Thailand" in the Architecture/Interior Design category. The two awards follow on the heels of previous accolades clinched by The River at the Thailand Property Awards' 2007 and 2008 editions.

Mr Piaras Moriarty, Raimon Land Vice President Client Management, Sales and Marketing, said: "Receiving these coveted awards for The River is further proof of our ability to deliver quality products to our customers. It reflects our commitment and consistency, and this is something we are very proud of."

Mr Terry Blackburn, CEO of Ensign Media, the event organizer, declared: "The success of The River shows that very ambitious projects that take a long time to complete are well worth persevering with it. The River is clearly up there with the best in Asia and thoroughly deserves its two big wins."

Located along the legendary Chao Phraya, The River was completed last June. As Bangkok’s finest freehold complex in the heart of the city’s only true five-star neighbourhood, the 15-billion baht, mixed-used project comprises of two residential towers soaring at 72 and 42 storey high. The River offers an unrivalled choice of residential, commercial, and serviced residence units, accompanied with spectacular city and river views, unique and iconic design, and superb facilities. In addition, residents can enjoy the ultimate lifestyle of luxury and convenience; with easy access to the CBD and Bangkok’s major shopping and entertainment districts.

Now in their 7th year, the Thailand Property Awards celebrate the works of the country's best real estate professionals and recognize the high quality of Thailand's property industry. This year, the organizers received over 1,400 nominations and 300 entries for 36 awards categories.
