TICON Group is confident that all Industrial Estates in which our projects are located are well-prepared and have effective flood prevention and handling measures.”

TICON Group’s comprehensive flood scheme includes preventive measures, procedure and plan to provide immediate support in case of flood as well as post-flood restoring plan in order that customers can resume operation as soon as possible. A team has been assigned to keep a close watch on the water level in canals around the projects in risk areas especially Wangnoi and Rojana Industrial Park. We also coordinate closely with relevant local and government agencies such as Royal Irrigation Department, Local Municipality and Sub-district Administrative Organization (SAO) to follow up on water allocation, overall flood situation, rain water quantity and flash flood situation so that we can provide quick and most updated information to customers.”

Speaking on behalf of TPARK, the leading warehouses developer for lease in TICON Group, Mr. Patan Somburanasin, General Manager of TPARK - TICON Logistics Park Co.,Ltd., discloses "TPARK Wangnoi was the most severely affected project by the flood crisis in 2011. After the crisis, the company spent a budget of 100 million baht to construct a permanent flood dike of 2 meters high. The dike was strongly built from special high-quality materials for water protection. We are confident that TPARK’s projects will be saved from floods this year,"

In addition to the dike, TPARK Wangnoi has established an effective flood protection system by installing drainage system with one way in-out floodgate. The floodgate will be closed immediately when the water level outside rises. Water pumps have also been installed in key risky areas. The systems have been well maintained and tested regularly to ensure that they are in good condition and ready for use at all times.
