Spaces signs lease agreement for its third Thailand location, at Empire Tower

Amsterdam-based creative workspace pioneer Spaces has signed as a new tenant of Empire Tower, its third location in Thailand. The new location will further serve the needs of the professionals by providing a hub at the heart of Sathorn's central business district.

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter on M floor and the 27th floor of Empire Tower, the creative workspace will offer 2,974sqm of office space, including 373 workspaces and three meeting rooms, offering a flexible working environment to freelancers, entrepreneurs and start-ups as well as those organizations looking for office space to facilitate future changes.

"We're thrilled to have signed as a new tenant at Empire Tower. The positive reaction we've had from both Spaces Summer Hill and Spaces Chamchuri Square has reaffirmed our belief that we're entering the era of the mobile workforce. More and more professionals and entrepreneurs are seeing the value in placing themselves and their businesses at the heart of a thriving business community, and the hot-desking environment at Spaces Empire Tower will provide the perfect backdrop for networking, creativity and accessibility to Bangkok's CBD," said Noelle Coak, Country Head (Thailand, Taiwan, Korea), Spaces.

A recent Spaces survey, based on the insights of over 18,000 business people across 96 companies showed that 80 percent of people thought flexible working could help their business both recruit and retain top talent, helping to improve job satisfaction, boost productivity and increase business performance.

Ms. Wallapa Traisorat, President of Asset World Corporation said "Empire Tower, Thailand's tallest office tower and the capital's sixth tallest building is a true landmark. Right at the heart of Bangkok's central business district, it offers superb transport links via Chong Nonsi BTS and the Sathorn station Bus Rapid Transit as well as its comprehensive one-stop lifestyle destination, Em Space, which offers shops, restaurants and fitness facilities, including Virgin Active, Tops Market and Asia Books".

"We're delighted Spaces selected Empire Tower as its third destination in Thailand, and we look forward to providing a flexible workspace and fulfilling office environment within the Sathorn area," said by Mr. Soammaphat Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer of Asset World Corporation.

Spaces Empire Tower is expected to be by the fourth quarter. Two locations of Spaces are already open, at the third floor of Sumer Hill and the 24th floor of Chamchuri Square. For more information on the development of Spaces, please visit www.spacesworks.com
