Microsoft Corporation announced the acquisition of Global Care Solutions, a privately held healthcare solutions provider based in Bangkok, which complements Microsoft’s already strong portfolio of health solutions and will provide hospitals across international markets with a new alternative to achieve improved workflow and patient safety through information technology. The global announcement Microsoft Corporation made in Thailand reflects the country’s potential for becoming a health care industry hub. The Bumrungrad International will be Microsoft’s development partner to develop and test innovative health solutions at its world-class facilities in Bangkok and around the globe.
