Photo Release: Volvo Selected as Exclusive Official Car of the 24th SEA Games 2007 Spirit, Friendship & Celebrations

Photo shows Mr. Viraj Thanissranont (2nd left), Vice President – Commercial Operations, Volvo Car (Thailand) and Mr. Praphan Yentharua (far left) Director of Automotive, SMC Motors handed over a fleet of Volvo all-new Volvo S80, Volvo XC90 and Volvo V70 for use as the exclusive official cars of the “the 24th SEA Games 2007” to Miss Pariya Angsuvorn (3rd right), Deputy Director General for Administration, Department of Land Transport.  Also witnessed in the hand over ceremony were Mr. Somchai Siriwattanachok (2nd right), Director of Land Transport Regulation Bureau and Mr. Kamol Booranapong (far right) Director of Transport Inspection Sub-division.  As an official sponsor for SEA Games 2007, Volvo provides forty three vehicles, comprising 3 units of Volvo XC90 D5 AWD, 30 units of The All-New Volvo S80 D5 and 10 units of Volvo V70T, to be allocated for VIP guests throughout the period of the event, supporting Thailand in making the best possible international impression for VIP international guests in these luxury and environmentally friendly vehicles with Volvo's legendary world safety reputation of over 80 years..
