CRC Sports Co., Ltd. — Supersports operator — No.1 Thailand leading sportswear, footwear and sport equipment retailer under Central Retail chain, has recently dumped 20 million baht to make over its image being more bright and modern; focusing on Merchandising Zone in order to facilitate customers as well as to fulfill their needs. The first store will be opened at Central Pinklao under “Brand Concept Store”, also called the “New No.1 Sporting Goods Shopping Destination in Bangkok” of Thailand.

Mr.Alan Thomson, Managing Director - CRC Sports Co., Ltd. has revealed that “New look of Supersports Central Pinklao branch located at 3rd floor of Central Department Store with space more than 200 sq.m. and operated to sell products under its new look since May 14, 2010. Our new look store is quite different from the old style; it may call “remodel”. Company has used our budget approximately 20 million baht to modernize this store. We would like to position Supersports as the “New No.1 Sporting Goods Shopping Destination in Bangkok” — the first and latest Supersports flagship store of Thailand. We also selected Zebra Projects Ltd. — the leading international retail, department store and supermarket designer and project management specialists — to be our designer because their achievements are very well acknowledged.”

“Supersports at Central Pinklao branch will be the first model store for organizing events. Company sets store format under “Brand Concept Store”, to highlight merchandizing zones being more clearly and to assemble all products line in one place. Proportion of products can be divided as sportswear and footwear about 70%, while the rest (30%) is sport equipments from various top brands i.e. Nike, Adidas, Speedo, Triumph, Crocs, Lacoste, Vans and etc. Apart from products improvement, Supersports has modified in-store atmosphere to be more modern and different. Not only the outstanding of big window display to show the new and latest products, the new trend to make customers touching Supersports new style, shelves designed to be wall for easily view all products in clear and wide range, but we also altered our employee’s uniform including new shopping bags.” Mr.Alan said.

Mr.Alan adds “For Supersports new look at Central Pinklao branch, it will be extraordinary with Soccer Zone gathering the complete football brand under the concept “Shop in Shop” which is our marketing strategy in 2010. We are preparing to welcome football fever occurred throughout this year by selecting goods and souvenirs from the world-class football clubs such as Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, AC Milan, Real Madrid and etc., including related products from the leading national football teams like Germany, England, France, Brazil, Spain, Italy and etc. as well as the famous brands such as Adidas, Nike, Diadoram Man-U, Kappa, Umbro and etc. All brands products will be decorated under the concept “Shop in Shop”. Herewith, this store is the first sport retailer in Thailand and Asia where customers can meet Nike Shop in Shop. It is the first store where used “Retail Concept” to apply with; to show up the dynamic ambiance with wall & flooring style and position of window display while still remain the simple style for customers. All decorations, no matter what materials, colors and designs, are inspired by feeling in gymnasium where professional athletes are familiar to do exercises and develop their skills for competition.
