Photo Release: Coca-Cola promotes 'Rangsit Community’ as a successful example of sustainable water management under 'RAKNAM’ Project

The King, led by Dr. Royol Chitradon (2nd from left), Director and Secretary General promotes Bueng Cham-or community, Amphoe Nong-Sua, Prathum Thani province as one shining community with efficient community water management under the 'RAKNAM' Project. Through collaboration between government, private sector and community, the community is able to combat the drought crisis, through water management under the royal initiative such as monkey cheek dams by switching from rice farms to integrated farming that require less water. Since 2013, Coca-Cola has supported Rangsit area with the total budget of 7.7 million baht. Through Coca-Cola's financial support and community water management and Utokapt Foundations knowledge and technology, Rangsit now has 29,000 million litres of water supply in the system which benefits 22,632 rai of bed, benefiting 6,473 households, 21,734 people and 52,000 rai of agricultural areas.
