Kris Theerarak (Centre), General Manager, Thai Airways International PCL, Kolkata, the Republic of India, and Sarawut Wongsomnuk (7th from right), International Sales Manager, THAI Smile Airways, welcomed members of the media and bloggers from Kolkata, India, who joined the media FAM Trip. The activity was held on the occasion that the airlines introduces direct flights for Kolkata-Bangkok route to allow the media to experience the full service of THAI Smile and enjoy sightseeing of popular tourist attractions in Bangkok and its vicinities. Kolkata-Bangkok route provides five flights a week to enhance the flight on the Indian route, which has continued to grow. Currently, THAI Smile provides services in four destinations in the Republic of India, including more than 19 flights per week. The aim is to support high-end target groups that require convenience from full service, responding to the needs of Indian passengers wishing to experience superior comfort with the best service standards. The airlines uses new Airbus A320-200 to serve passengers and connect to other cities in Thailand smoothly and also opening a new perspective for Thai passengers to various interesting cities in India.
