Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) recently joined the Euromoney Conferences: The Greater Mekong Investment Forum organized by UK's leading financial magazine, Euromoney, to share its visions and perspectives on the development of the Greater Mekong Subregion. Representing SCB in sharing the bank's views at the event were Mr. Kamalkant Agarwal, Advisor to the CEO on International Banking Business, who spoke on the topic of "Supply Chain Tilts in the Greater Mekong Subregion's Favor as Global Trade Agreement Shift", and Mr. Tana Pothikamjorn, Executive Vice President, Head of Digital Platforms, who offered his thoughts on the subject of "How is the digital economy changing the face of the region?" SCB also took part in a focus session led by Mr. Weeraphong Phrommazui,SVP, Transaction Banking Solutions, and Mr. Phattharaphon Ratanasuvan, SVP, Trade Product, to talk about the "Trade Club", an online community connecting customers with companies worldwide at one click. The event served as a venue allowing representatives from both the government and private sectors to share knowledge and perspectives on matters benefiting the development of the region to become even stronger. The event was held recently at the Centara Grand at CentralWorld.
