The event, which moves its venue to a different location in the hotel each time, will be held at The Bakery from 06:00 P.M. to 08:00 P.M.
Price is Baht 990++, which includes cheeses and organic canapes.
Bodega Volcanes produces only wines of Reserva quality or above, and which appeal to wine lovers with a sense of adventure and who value authentic, rather than mass-produced, wines.
Guest speaker Ben Gordon, who is managing director of the winery, will be present early in the evening from about 06:20 P.M. to describe how the vineyards are located in areas with special soils, where volcanic material abounds and forces the roots to dive deeper in search of water and nutrients.
Four wines will be tasted during the evening, starting with a white wine, Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2017, grown in Chile's Leyda Valley, and displaying a bright citrus quality with tastes and herbal notes.
There are three red wines. Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 is grown in the Rapel Valley and is a ruby red wine with primary flavours of ripe fruits and hints of minerals and spice.
Tectonia Grenache, Petite Syrah & Mourvedre 2016 is from the Central Valley and has an intense aroma of wild flowers, spices, and red and black fruits. The influence of tectonic plate activity along Chile's coastline was the inspiration behind Tectonia Pinot Noir 2015, a red wine that has rich acidity, and evokes the taste of red fruits and earthy tannins.
