Grab Thailand Appoints Two New Leadership Roles

Grab, the leading everyday super app in Southeast Asia, today announced the appointment of Mr. Alejandro Osorio as the new Country Head of Grab Thailand. In his new role, Mr. Osorio, who was formerly Director for Regional Strategy & Planning, Operations of Grab Holding Inc., will take the helm of Grab's business operations and continue to heighten Grab reputation in Thailand, strengthening and accelerating business growth across all verticals, from on-demand transport, food and package delivery, to other new services on Grab application. In addition, he will take a lead in building robust capabilities and diversify business to serve today's consumer lifestyles, while continuing to balance out Grab's business ecosystem to create the long-term benefits to all stakeholders: users, driver-partners, merchant-partners, business partners, and the platform.

The company has also appointed Mr. Worachat Luxkanalode as Executive Director of Grab Thailand. Under this role, Worachat will be mainly responsible for corporate strategic planning and driving the 'Grab For Good' commitment, which focuses on promoting and improving the quality of life for Thai people by leveraging technology and Grab platform, ensuring a sustainable growth for Grab Thailand. He will also play a leading role in building and strengthening good ties with external stakeholders including government sectors and business partners. In the meantime, Worachat will continue his role as Country Head of Grab Financial Group - Thailand, aiming to drive Grab's financial services business forward to become one of the leading fintech solution providers by creating and improving access to financial services across payments, lending and insurance to enrich the lives of Thai people.
