Staffed by a professionally trained and certified team of child minders, Blue Tree Phuket's Kids Planet can accommodate 54 persons per hour while adhering to international standards on staff-to-child ratios, with one member of staff to every three children under the age of three or every six children for the older kids. Kids aged from 18 months to 3 years old are encouraged to develop their creativity and independence in the Little Lady Bug Room. The high ceilings are painted with a blue sky and clouds to give the area an open and natural feel, while soft flooring provides comfort and safety for the toddlers as they climb, build, and explore. The pace can be slowed down with story time and there are quiet areas where the young ones can enjoy a nap.
For older children aged between three and six years old, the Big Bear Room takes the concept of learning through play to another level with a variety of activities spread across two floors. Here, the focus is on developing social skills through interaction and stimulating the imagination through arts and crafts, role-playing, and reading. The Happy Squirrel Garden is another open play area. Adjacent to the Big Bear Room, it provides opportunities for the older kids to get close to nature and explore their environment.
