CP Group and CP Foods donate food and essentials to Department of Medical Services

Charoen Pokphand Group joined hands with Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CP Foods) and CP All Public Company Limited to supply 24,000 packs of ready-to-eat meals, alcohol-based sanitizer, face mask and drinking water to the Department of Medical Services (DMS) as a part of "CP Hearts as One Fights COVID-19", a COVID-19 relief project.

DMS director-general, Somsak Akksilp, thanks CP Group, as well as CP Foods and CP All, for supporting the department and Ministry of Health's missions since the first wave of the outbreak in 2020. These supplies are crucial for both the health and the morale of medical staffs who have been working tirelessly to take care of COVID-19 patients.

CP Foods' CEO, Prasit Boondoungprasert, told that, essential supplies were given as a token of thanks to medical staffs who have dedicated themselves to the care of COVID-19 patients. CP Foods is doing its part to help them by providing a variety of safe, healthy, and also delicious food supplies. The company has been supplied foods for medical staffs, volunteers, and vulnerable groups under "CPF Food from the Heart against COVID-19" program since early 2020.

At the same forum, CP ALL also donated medical supplies such as alcohol-based sanitizer and face mask, and drinking water.

CP Foods and CP All jointly delivered essentials to 16 hospitals under DMS as follows: Nopparat Rajathanee Hospital, Metta Pracharak Hospital (Wat Rai Khing), Rajavithi Hospital, Lerdsin Hospital, Songkhla Hospital, Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute, Institute of Neurology, Institute of Pathology, National Cancer Institute, PMNIDAT institute on drug abuse, Institute of Thoracic Diseases, Institute of Dermatology , Queen Sirikit National Institute of Child Health, Lopburi Cancer Hospital, Chonburi Cancer Hospital and the Department of Medical Service's hotline at 1668.

CP Group and its members have pledged to support medical staffs' works in the care and prevention of the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak with the 200-million baht worth budget. So far, CP Group has supported a total number of 78 hospitals.
