JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited (JWD) underlined its leadership in the public cold storage business in the ASEAN region by being the first and only business operator in this segment in Cambodia to be awarded ISO-22000 (Food Safety) standard certification, thus increasing the operational efficiency in the standards in storage, assurance of stored food safety, and services at the international level.

Mr. Charvanin Bunditkitsada, Chairman of the Executive Committee and CEO of JWD InfoLogistics Public Company Limited (JWD), ASEAN's recognized expert in logistics and supply chain, revealed that the Company has planned to elevate the quality standard of cold storage services abroad to ensure confidence in the assurance of the safety of food in storage and to reinforce the Company's position as the business leader in public cold storage services in Thailand and the ASEAN region. JWD has continually placed great importance in elevating the standards in systems and services since the Company started to invest in the cold storage business in Cambodia in 2015 through JWD Asia Logistics (Cambodia) Company, a JWD subsidiary whose customers are the leading brands in the fast food sector and the distributor of a world's leading ice cream brand who demanded the world-class standard of services and the assurance of food safety in cold storage.

Most recently, JWD's public cold storage facilities in Cambodia became the first and only operator in that country to achieve the internationally-recognized ISO-22000 (Food Safety) certification. In being awarded this global standard, the public cold storage must have standardized warehouse and must pay close attention to the entire storage process, with systematic control and audit, such as the data filing system, inspection and monitoring system for product quality, etc. Also, there must also be a good hygiene management system, supervision of the storage environment and control of the level of allergens.

The awarding of this important certification has helped to increase the potential of business operation and bolster the confidence among the current customers as well as new ones in the future. The Company is fully ready to offer services to customers who are foreign companies doing business in Cambodia and needing storage facilities with high standard, as well as stepping up to offer the services to other cold storage service providers in Cambodia.

"Although in elevating the standard in the cold storage services in Cambodia, it has resulted in the Company having to shoulder increased investment costs, and has needed time to develop the quality and service system to conform with the ISO-22000 standard certification, but the Company was ready to invest to increase the customers' confidence according to the "First Move" business practice and to become the leader in the cold storage business in this region," Mr Charvanin concluded.
