Pomelo has appointed Kevalin Athayu as its new vice president and head of sustainability reinforcing the fashion tech company's long-standing commitment to delivering eco-friendly, on-trend apparel and accessories in a seamless shopping experience while striving for positive changes. In this role, Kevalin will be responsible for formulating and executing the company's sustainability strategy while driving impact within the industry.

In her position as vice president and head of sustainability, Kevalin will be responsible for leading the formulation of the company's sustainability agenda and identifying new opportunities. She will also be responsible for devising an innovative strategy while working with both cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including non-governmental organizations, experts, and various partners with the aim of accomplishing Pomelo's ambitious sustainability goals.

In addition, she will lead efforts to redefine sustainability in the fashion tech industry in order to develop data-driven sustainability initiatives and manage the execution of various key sustainability projects.

Before joining Pomelo, Kevalin was the Global Head of Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility at the online travel tech company Agoda, where she led the formulation and execution of their sustainability strategy and developed their employee giving and volunteering program.
