Krungsri holds a seminar for sustainable business, synergizing with MUFG to drive Thailand's financial market toward sustainable growth

Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya PCL) continued to enhance business customers' capability with Krungsri Business Talk, under the topic of "Steering Green Business Toward Sustainability". On this occasion, Mr. Seiichiro Akita, Krungsri President and Chief Executive Officer gave an opening remark for the seminar.

The seminar was honored by guest speakers from distinguished organizations, namely Ms. Jitana Khumnirdpetch, Minister (Commercial) The Office of Commercial Affairs, Brussels, Belgium, Mr. Kiatchai Maitriwong, Executive Director, Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization and Mr. Prasit Vaiyavatjamai, Partner, ERM-Siam Co., Ltd. The speakers shared their knowledge and directions on how to drive the green business. Key topics included how to reduce green house gas emission and carbon, direction of Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) or Carbon Tax, and tools for driving the businesses towards sustainability, in order to steer the Thai businesses towards sustainable growth.

Krungsri and MUFG executives also participated as speakers in this seminar. The speakers included Mr. Yoshiyuki Horio, Krungsri Head of JPC/MNC Banking, Mr. Prakob Phiencharoen, Krungsri Head of Corporate and Investment Banking Group, Mr. Colin Chen, Head of ESG Finance, Asia Pacific and Asia Investment Banking Division, MUFG Bank and Ms. Jamjun Siriganjanavong, Krungsri Senior Vice President, Head of Debt Capital Markets Department. They presented Krungsri and MUFG's expertise in supporting corporate customers with financial products and services that enable businesses to drive towards ESG. In addition, they shared their viewpoints on how to strengthen Thailand's sustainable finance market.
