AP Honda Unveils RC213V-S Prototype – the World’s Ultimate Superbike at Motor Show 2015

Introducing new experience through a concept: “My Rides My Stories”

Launching New MOOVE14 – equipped with smart technology from Honda

AP Honda, the official Honda motorcycle distributor in Thailand, is unveiling its ultimate technology at the 36th Bangkok International Motor Show and offering unique experience to all under a concept “My Rides My Stories”. A variety of Honda BigBike and motorcycles will be displayed to cater to the different lifestyles of the users. Thailand will be the third country, after Italy and Japan, to exhibit the RC213V-S Prototype, the street version of two-time Moto GP Champion RC213V, during the 13-day motor show. Meanwhile, New Honda MOOVE14, the new smart AT motorcycle with 14-inch wheels, will be released. The model will be represented by new brand ambassador “Yaya” Urassaya Sperbund who will interpret the fun and smart character of the motorcycle. The model will be made available nationwide in the near future. The booth at the motor show will also feature entertainment provided by famous artists, special offers for customers, and latest Honda collection at special prices.

At Bangkok International Motor Show 2015, we are proud to present a new concept, My Rides My Stories, at our booth. Inspired by the helmet visor, the stories of riders will be portrayed as unique experiences of the riders. The highlight of the show is the RC213V-S Prototype, the world’s first superbike to bring the technology of RC213V from the professional racing circuit to the streets. It’s our pleasure to be the third country, after Italy and Japan, to welcome the prototype from Japan for Thais to experience throughout the 13-day show. The RC213V prototype is marked number 93 by Marc Marquez – two-time Moto GP champion who also holds the record of winning 13 out of 18 legs and also won 10 consecutive races in the past season,” said Suchart Arunsaengroj, Director of AP Honda Co Ltd.

“Apart from superbike, we have also brought premium big bikes for the customers to book at the show. The booth will also feature AP Honda Racing Thailand Team that has just swept home support race championship in 600cc super sport category from World Superbike. The motorbike on display will also be the number 9 by "film" Ratthapark Wilairot, Thailand’s first 600cc champion under Core Motorsport Thailand, and the Moto2 racing motorbike in World GP for Thais to have a closer look. Meanwhile, Honda MOOVE14, the new AT motorcycle with 14-inch wheel, which is equipped with Honda Smart Technology for fun, economy, and confidence will be presented by “Yaya” Urassaya Sperbund. The fun and smart character of the soon-to-be released model will be presented by the young brand ambassador.

At Honda booth, “My Rides My Stories” will be divided into 4 zones. The first 3 zones will be presented under the concept of “Honda BigBike Excites the World” which are:

- Premium Sport to display the world’s ultimate superbike RC213V-S Prototype and racing motorcycle RC213V, number 93 by Marc Marquez, the world’s current Moto GP champion

- Sport Racing to display the racing motorcycles by AP Honda Racing Thailand team that has just grabbed home the Support Race championship from the World Superbike in 600cc category, and the World GP in Moto2 category; and the Honda CBR300R from Honda CBR300R Thailand Dream Cup.

- Premium Elegance to display the premium HondaBig Bikes that have been designed to cater the diverse demands of the customers. The collection includes Honda Goldwing 40th anniversary edition and Honda CBR1000RR Champion Special, number 93 by Marc Marquez, and such famous models as Goldwing F6B, F6C, CB1100, VFR1200X, NM4, and CTX1300.

Fun & Smart zone is designed for the motorcycle users to experience the “Power of Fun Projects”. The latest model, Honda MOOVE14, will be premiered at the show, with customized accessories along with other models including MSX125 Masked Rider V1 Model, Zoomer-X Café Racer, Forza300 New Concept. For those enjoying off-road style, Honda CRF250R – the specially-made version for James Bond 007 will also be displayed.

Apart from the motorcycles, AP Honda will also bring the big fun to all visitors. Famous artists and actresses including Yaya, Katesepsawat “Na Neck” Palakawong na Ayutthaya, and 25Hours will be onstage. Other highlighted experiences will include Track Feeling Eyeglass, Augmented Reality (AR), Lean Machine, Red Fan Battle (especially for football fans). The special shows of the winners from 7th Marketing Plan Contest will also take place on Sunday March 29, 2015 at the activity hall at the back of Challenger Hall 1.
