Lay's, Thailand's No.1 best-selling potato chips, led by Mrs. Thamas Chumpani, Senior Marketing Manager of Pepsi-Cola (Thai) Trading Company Limited, together with its brand ambassadors 'Nadech' Kugimiya and Urassaya 'Yaya' Sperbund recently introduced sweet-flavored potato chips to Thai consumers, aiming to strengthen its leadership position as a trendsetter and innovation driver for Thailand's Bt30-billion snack industry. Debuted in Thailand as the first market in Asia, two new flavors of Lay's chips namely "Lay's Honey Butter" and "Lay's Popcorn Caramel" are innovated to meet growing demand of today's consumers who are more inclined to try new products, especially in Asia-Pacific in which 69% of consumers* say they purchased a new product during their last grocery-shopping trip.

The launch is supported by a 360-degree campaign, including TV commercial featuring Nadech and Yaya, eye-catching out-of-home media, retail and in-store media, and digital and social media engagement, as well as on-ground activations highlighted by "disruptive sampling troop" -- a caravan of bee mascots riding on motorbikes and bee-shaped drones chasing a gigantic pack of Lay's Honey Butter -- to boost the buzz around Bangkok.
