Chevron hosts Geology Camp in Chiang Mai

Recently Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. organized the Geology Camp for high school students. The camp, hosted in Chiang Mai this year, welcomed more than 30 students from 8 schools nationwide. These schools are Triam Udom Suksa, Boonyawart Wittayalai, Khon Khaen Wittayayon, Triam Udom Suksa Pattanakarn, Mahidol Wittayanusorn, Yupparaj Wittayalai, Samsen Wittayalai, and Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University Demonstration School.

Chevron’s Geology Camp is held annually with an aim to promote Geology, a significant knowledge for petroleum exploration and production among Thai youth. The camp also encourages students to further their interest in studying Geology in the university level.
