Evocatively embodying the spirit of Chinese New Year on the Chinese New Year Lunch Buffet are quintessentially Cantonese appetizers such as succulent Roasted marinated BBQ pork sparerib and finest Deep fried crab roll with tofu skin. Salads range classic Jelly fish salad and traditional chicken marinated with Chinese whisky. Freshly cooked mains range Sichuan spicy tofu, Wok-fried lamb with salty back bean paste, Wok-fried fish maw with crab meat, Wok-fried Chongqing chicken with dry chili, and Baked lotus fried rice. Plus handmade traditional dim sums galore and not only Roasted Peking duck but roasted Hong Kong suckling pig, too. And for dessert? Think Sesame paste dumpling with ginger syrup or Sago cantaloupe. As for Chinese New Year Dinner Buffet, start with Suckling pig carvings, Chinese cold cuts and Jellyfish salad. Proceed with Braised sea cucumber in brown sauce and Steamed snowfish with soy glaze. Fish maw soup with crab meat and Bamee moo dang noodles with wonton also feature. Then tuck into such a la minute delights as Stir-fried scallop with asparagus, Wok-fried Hong Kong noodles and Yeung Chow fried rice. Not to neglect, of course, perfectly crunchy, sweet and succulent Roasted Peking duck. Then turn around again and see how much you’ve missed.
