Khun Tunyaratt is one of 10 outstanding women from Thailand honoured by the awards. A total of 100 women – 10 from each of the 10 ASEAN member states – received awards in what is the first ASEAN initiative to honour women for their entrepreneurship and success. The awards were part of the first ASEAN Businesswomen Forum, which drew more than 200 female entrepreneurs from around the region to Hanoi.
On March 9, a press conference was held followed by a ceremony to honour the 10 Thai women selected for the honours. Khun Tunyaratt Achariyachai said: "The prestigious award is considered a testament to hard work and dedication. I'm very honoured to receive it and will redouble my efforts to help women get ready to compete in ASEAN."
The other nine Thai women entrepreneurs who were awarded are:

7. Dr.Wandee Khunchornyakong, Founder/Chairman/ CEO of SPCG Public Company Limited
