The award-winning Michael is one of Vietnam's most celebrated and prolific chefs, having won 'Best Chef 2003 New York Magazine', 'Best New Restaurant - New York Times 2007 (Mai House)', 'Best New Asian Restaurant 2007 – Time Out New York', a 'Michelin Bib Award, 2011 and 2012, and a Michelin Star for Silk at Cocoon Club in Frankfurt. He's been a coach for Bocuse d'or Vietnam Team 2014 and 'Iron Chef Vietnam 2013' and so is rightly regarded as the country's top "culinary ambassador".
