Thai rising popstar and actor, Gun Ratchanon, and popular TV host, Ticha Pacharawan, landed in Hong Kong recently for the filming of Extreme Ends. This new reality TV series created by action entertainment TV channel KIX showcases the "extreme" opposite sides of Hong Kong.

Gun and Ticha are the celebrities chosen from Thailand to participate in the four-episode reality series. Gun and Ticha are both artists managed by Mono Music so they have collaborated before on several television shows and events. They have gotten to know each other on a working-level, and have developed a camaraderie, but they would like to get to know each other better. Extreme Ends is their chance to do just that while trying new and exciting things in Hong Kong.

Gun Ratchanon started his career as a member of the boy band EVO 9. The band disbanded in 2016, so Gun turned to his second love, acting. Gun showed a natural talent for acting and quickly gained popularity in television series such as A-Run-Sa-Wad (Good Morning), Project X, The Secret File of Horrible Game and Tee-Yai-Dub-Dao-Joan. In 2017, Gun starred alongside Ticha in the historical drama series The Legend of King Naresuan, in which he played King Akathodsarod.

Ticha Pacharawan was the former leader of the five-member girl group Gtwenty. These five girls trained for two years before releasing such hits as Don't Worry, Bye Bye Boy and Magic Hour. After Gtwenty, Ticha's popularity continues to grow, and she is now the host of Mono29's Entertainment Now and a DJ at 91.5 FM. Besides Extreme Ends, Ticha is now preparing to release her new single with Mono Music.

"I have never been to Hong Kong before so I am looking forward to this adventure with KIX. I enjoy challenges and doing new things and Extreme Ends will give me the opportunity to do exactly that. I'm very excited to go on this adventure with my friend and colleague, Ticha. It will be great to explore Hong Kong's extremes with her and see whether our adventures fit with our personalities…and what happens when they don't!" said Gun.

"I can't wait to start filming KIX's Extreme Ends in Hong Kong. I have been to Hong Kong several times before, but I have never ventured outside the iconic areas, so I am curious to see what else the city has to offer. It's exciting to be doing this with Gun; he is such a sweet guy and I can't wait to see him in action around Hong Kong," said Ticha.

Extreme Ends is a reality show featuring four celebrities and their special guests experiencing the many diverse sides of Hong Kong! In this original series, viewers can get an entertaining glimpse into the relationship between the celebrities and their guests. At the same time, viewers will get to see new sides of Hong Kong they have never seen before. Each episode will feature a theme of extreme opposites, such as "fast vs. slow" or "high vs low." These themes will showcase the fascinating contrasts, non-stop intensity and distinctively trendy attributes of Hong Kong.

Extreme Ends is produced by KIX's parent company Celestial Tiger Entertainment, operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment. The show is supported by Hong Kong Tourism Board and Harbour City. Extreme Ends will air first and exclusively on KIX in October. KIX is available on Charoen Cable TV (Ch. 38), Happy Home Cable TV (Ch. 93) and TOT iptv (Ch. 257).
