Anantara Sathorn Bangkok Hotel invites guests and local wine connoisseurs to its latest Uncorked and Plated Wine Dinner Series featuring a five-course menu alongside Italian wine pairings on Friday 20 September 2019 from 7.00 pm – 9.30 pm.
Only 30 tickets are available at THB 1,650++ per person for this intimate fine dining and wine tasting experience which includes a reception cocktail pass and live cooking stations presented by Chef Gibb.
Fine Dining in the Sky
The night of fine dining begins with a private cocktail pass around at Anantara Sathorn's ZOOM Sky Lounge, 38 floors high. Guests can savour specially made Italian hors-d'oeuvres and sip on fine bubbles while soaking in Bangkok's sunset cityscape.
Anantara Sathorn's private Kasara Executive Lounge sets the scene for the five-course dinner and wine tasting menu. Each culinary course is presented at live cooking stations by Chef Gibb for the ultimate intimate dining experience.
Italian Culinary Journey
The first entree brings a twist to familiar flavours as Potato is combined with Cured Egg Yolk, Caviar, Juice of Mussels and a Slight Tanginess from Dill. Shellfish is the star of the next course on a plate of delicate Sweet Slipper Lobster with Refreshing Raw Greens.
Pasta is presented in the second entree with an unexpected combination of Tortellini, Duck Liver and Asian Mushrooms Covered with an Earthy, Savoury Truffle Sauce. The Italian flavours culminate with the Lamb Shank Balanced by Tomato and Saffron Served with Arborio Rice.
The five course dinner concludes with a classic Italian dessert: a Zuppa with Pistachio, Red Berries, Balsamic and Bitter Chocolate.
