SOFITEL BANGKOK SILOM WON THE SILVER AND THE BRONZE MEDALS FROM ICE CARVING CONTEST IN THE THAIFEX-WORLD OF FOOD ASIA 2010

Mr. Duangdee Rangkavipa, Sofitel Bangkok Silom’s Ice Carver, has recently won two medals from the Ice Carving Contest in the THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2010, Thailand's grandest food extravaganza of the year, at IMPACT Exhibition Center, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok, Thailand. With his skillful hands, he has a Silver Medal awarded with honour to a Free Style Team Ice Carving Contest and a Bronze Medal awarded with honour to a Free Style Individual Ice Carving.

The THAIFEX-World of Food Asia 2010 has organized by Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government Koelnmesse GmbH (KM) and The Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC). The event aimed to further underscore Thailand's capabilities as a major food-manufacturing and food-exporting hub of the region, and the world. This year's event was set to feature over 1,000 leading food-related companies, occupying over 2,100 booths, and was poised to welcome an influx of international visitors from around the world.

Sofitel Bangkok Silom is always support our ambassadors (staff) to attend both domestic and International competitions in order to gain more experiences from their competitions and bring the recognition to Thailand.
