The award, voted for by readers of TTG Asia, TTG China, TTG India, TTG mice, TTG-BT Mice China, TTG associations and TTG Asia Luxury, was awarded to Qantas eight years consecutively from 2006 and once again this year. Voting is done online or via printed forms in TTG publications where voters simply nominate organisations that they perceive best deserve the various awards, based on a listed set of criteria.
Qantas' Regional General Manager for Asia, Ben Tan, said he is thrilled that Qantas is being recognised by such a prestigious award:

In 2015, Qantas has progressed through refurbishment of its A330 fleet, featuring world first gate to gate recline Business Suits and the latest Panasonic eX3 inflight entertainment system.
The airline also completed the implementation of its revolutionary New Economy menu and dining service with 50 per cent larger meals and more choices, launched the new Rockpool Sommeliers program, SMS check in, mobile travel app and announced the investment in new aircraft - eight new Boeing 787-9s will join the Qantas International fleet from 2017.
In August 2015 Qantas Group posted a return to profitability, with $975 million of Underlying Profit Before Tax for FY15.
Qantas International offers 130 flights to Asia every week, with direct flights to 11 cities, and fares available with partner airlines to over 120 more cities in Asia.
