True donates auction proceeds of Liverpool’s 1977 Euro Cup Championship t-shirt to charity

True’ s two week online auction of the only autographed Liverpool 1977 Euro Cup championship t-shirt in Thailand has received a lot of interest from Liverpool football fans nationwide, of which the proceeds will be donated to the Special Olympics Thailand charity organization.
The online auction drew bids from many Liverpool fans across the country who vied to own the Liverpool memorabilia bearing the signatures of 4 Liverpool players : Ian Callaghan, Steve Heighway, Tommy Smith and Phil Neal who were part of the team that won the European Cup in 1977
Mr. Ardkit Suntornwat, Director and General Manager Multimedia Business of True Corporation Plc, said “The online auction at www.trueworld.net commencing on 21 January 2006 received very good feedback from Liverpool fans. The number of Liverpool fans who participated, together with the amount of money generated from the online auction, was very overwhelming. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Special Olympics Thailand charity organization to support sports development for disabled people.
