BT announced a Q1 profit YoY surge of 25%

Phirasilp Subhapholsiri, President of BankThai Plc., revealed that the first quarter net earnings amounted to Baht 378 mil. representing a year-on-year increase of 25% --despite the fact that the Bank has set aside a Baht 300 mil. provision which is Baht 270 mil. higher than the corresponding number in the first quarter of last year.
