Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) announced that its VitalQIP(R) DNS/DHCP & IP Address Management software has been ranked number one in market share, seven years running by the latest IDC study.
According to the 2007 IDC Worldwide IP Address Management 2007-2011 Forecast and Analysis, IP address management is a key growth market, likely to reach $425 million by 2011. This comes at a time when a growing number of IT managers recognizes the importance of a seamless network relative to productivity, the ability to implement new business models, and address the requirements of converged communications.
