IT Group announced that it has selected OpenTravel CRM(tm) for use by its 800 plus member travel agency consortia. Under the arrangement, travel agency members within the IT Group network will have free access to a special branded version of OpenTravel CRM(tm), which is a web based customer relationship management (CRM), e-marketing and back office business suite designed for travel.
According to Joseph Mazzarella, president and CEO of Travel Sciences, which developed OTC, "we are very excited about this new relationship. IT Group is a major travel agent network representing over 1.4 Billion Dollars in annual sales and it is gratifying that IT Group selected OpenTravel CRM as its CRM of choice. We have over 2,000 independently registered users of OpenTravel CRM in 4 months and the addition of another large member community is very significant."

Under the arrangement, IT Group member agencies can set-up their own private agency accounts and user agents have their own log-in. Users will access a co-branded, special version of OpenTravel CRM. IT Group member users will enjoy all of the functional capabilities provided to independent users of OpenTravel CRM without any restrictions.
It is expected that OpenTravel CRM will be available to IT Group members in the next 45 days.
