KBank Private Banking Service: AUM Growth of 60 Percent; Wins ‘Best Service Provider’ Award

KASIKORNBANK’s private banking service has shown outstanding performance, in addition to winning the “Best Private Wealth Management House of Thailand” award from a leading financial magazine. The Bank’s private banking service has recorded an increase of 60 percent in investable assets under management (AUM) since its debut last year, and its customer base has grown by around 20 percent in the same period.

Mr. Tawit Thanachanun, First Senior Vice President, KASIKORNBANK, said in an interview that since the launch of our private banking service in July 2008 to offer advisory service and private wealth management for our high-net-worth clients, its performance has shown healthy growth amid the volatile economic and investment environment.

Its Investable Assets Under Management (AUM) have increased by more than 30 billion Baht, or 60 percent. Investment in mutual funds has grown more than 40 percent, while investment in debentures has more than doubled. Our high-net-worth customer base has also risen by 20 percent in the past year. This reflects our clients’ trust in the advisory service given by our relationship managers (RM), financial advisors (FA) and specialists.
