Photo Release: SCG Chemicals and Srithai develop innovative ‘one-piece’ plastic cap for soft drinks for the first time in Asean

Mr. Sommai Sirilertsombat (right), managing director, SCG Polyolefins Ltd., a subsidiary of SCG Chemicals, and Mr. Sanan Angubolkul (left), chairman and president, Srithai Superware Plc, revealed the successful development, for the first time in Asean region, of “single-piece” cap from El-Lene? HDPE resin for carbonated soft drinks. The innovative product helps reduce raw material usage by 25%, save production energy and is 100% recyclable. It has elevated the Thai plastic industry to international standards with its compliance to the stringent criteria of one of the world’s largest beverage companies.
