Bumrungrad International to host Nobel Laureate’s lecture on "Biomedical Science, World Health and World Peace"

Bumrungrad International invites members of the medical, health, and scientific communities to attend a lecture by Nobel Laureate Professor H. Robert Horvitz, on "Biomedical Science, World Health and World Peace," at the hospital.

Professor Horvitz is a microbiologist who shared the 2002 Nobel Prize in Medicine for discoveries concerning the genetic regulation of organ development and programmed cell death. In his lecture, he will discuss how discoveries based on biomedical research are vitally interconnected with world health and peace.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, 19th March 2009 from 2:00 — 3:30 pm (registration from 1:00 pm) at Conference Center CD, 12/f, Bumrungrad hospital building, Sukhumvit 3.
