In his new role Chef Roberto will be responsible for overseeing the creation of menus, training of his team of chefs, food preparation and presentation, special promotions and ensuring full food hygiene measures are followed.
Chef Roberto joins Luce directly from the position of Executive Chef at EFF Cucina e Stagioni in Milan, renowned for its creative and innovative fine dining menu and winning a place on the “Best New Restaurants in Milan” list for 2011. His impressive portfolio includes Senior Sous Chef at London Hilton on Park Lane, working alongside Michelin-starred artisans such as Eric Chavot, Chris Galvin and Gary Rhodes. To add to his list of accolades Chef Roberto also won 2 silver medals at the 2008 ICA Culinary Olympics in Germany.
Chef Roberto says “Let’s say that my motivation is very personal. Over the years I discovered that cooking made me to express myself in ways in which I wouldn\'t be able to do with the simple word. For me the ultimate satisfaction comes when a customer understands what I am trying to tell them with my food. Maybe a deeply cherished memory, feeling or experience from the past that with the stress of everyday life might seem to be lost.
